Journey to the Sea: An S.O.S. from our Oceans was a semi-permanent art installation at the Peoria PlayHouse Children’s Museum.  This faculty-student collaboration, developed by Margaret LeJeune and students from her Art and The Environment class at Bradley University, aimed to teach children and the community about problems facing our oceans including coral reef bleaching, plastic pollution, and species loss. The community outreach project utilized recyclable materials collected by Playhouse families, Bradley University Greek Life Organizations, East Peoria Tire, and Peoria Disposal Company (PDC).  Click on the link below to watch a documentary film, created by filmmaker Allison Walsh, about the project.
